Abstract

The paper considers the development of the problem of perfectionism in the researches of foreign and native scientists. The attention is focused on the dichotomy of the above-stated psychological phenomenon. The results of the empirical investigation of the level and structure of perfectionism of future medical nurses are introduced. The correlation of different levels of self-oriented perfectionism, other-oriented perfectionism, socially prescribed perfectionism with adaptive skills, behavioural regulation and emotional states are analyzed.
