Native word in ethnocultural dimension is a peer-reviewed professional periodical (B category).

The journal was founded in 2007 as a collection of proceedings of the International scientific-practical conference “Native word in ethnocultural dimension”. Since 2013, it has been the collection of scholarly articles by Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University.
Registration of Print media entity: Decision of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine: Decision No. 1190 as of 11.04.2024.
The journal is included in the List of professional scientific periodicals (B category) according to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 157 as of 09.02.2021 (annex 4) and indexed in international scientometric databases: Google Scholar, Polish Scholarly Bibliography (PBN), ResearchBib – Academic resource index, Index Copernicus.

The journal aims to publish scholarly articles which deal with principles and problems of ethnological studies of modern linguistics, interpret a word as an artistic means for reflecting the ethnic world and study a sociocultural aspect of a linguistic identity’s becoming.
